Donations are tax-deductible under section 170 of the IRS Code, and made directly to MHR, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Donations are 100% applied to helping our rescues. Basic care including hay, shavings, hoof trims, teeth floating and vaccines cost roughly $5,500 per horse per year. MHR doesn't receive government funding, and relies on fundraising efforts, volunteers, donations, and sponsorships to provide for our rescues.

Rescue Sponsorships

Feed and Supplies
Feed and supplies such as hay, grain, treats, first aid items, buckets, barn equipment, halters, and brushes are needed to provide quality care.

Tack Donations
MHR accepts tack of all disciplines as well as gently used riding apparel. Any items not used directly in our program will be sold at MHR tack sale fundraisers.
